Graduate Admissions: Getting Started

Step 1: Apply Online

Create your MyUNA Profile to access the online graduate application.

Already have a MyUNA Profile?  You can Apply Online through your profile!

Step 2: Prepare Application Materials

From your MyUNA Profile, you may view your Supplemental Items checklist for a list of required documents needed to complete your application file. Some documents, such as Resumes and Application Essays, can be uploaded electronically to your graduate application through your MyUNA Profile.

Step 3: Send Official Transcripts

Request an official transcript from your degree granting institution to be sent directly to the UNA Office of Graduate Admissions. We may request additional transcripts as needed for specific graduate programs.

Transcripts from the University of North Alabama do not need to be sent to UNA Graduate Admissions.

Official transcripts can be sent through an electronic transcript service to graduate@zjjfc.net or mailed to:

Step 4: Submit Official Test Score Report (if applicable)

Please note: The official test score report is waived for admission until further notice. Please contact the department for additional information on test requirement.

See Admission Requirements for specific testing requirements.  Official test scores can be sent to the University of North Alabama: GRE and GMAT test code- 1735; MAT test code- 2312 .

Step 5: Check your Application Status

Review your MyUNA Profile to see supplemental items needed to complete your application material. Please allow 1-3 business days for your checklist to be updated as items are received.

We will contact you by email when your application is complete and sent for departmental review. An email notification will be sent to you when a decision has been made.
